Van Persie announced he won't signing a new Arsenal contract

Robin van Persie has announced that he will not be signing a new Arsenal contract and he will be leaving the club this summer. If you want my honest opinion of this, I saw this coming all along. Van Persie played extremely well. It was the best season of his career last year. And he was pound, in the prime of his career, to move to a club where he can actually win trophies.

Arsenal have played very well. They play great football. They have great players. They have some young promising players. One for example being Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. I think van Persie does deserve better, I'll be honest with you. Arsene Wenger, he's a great manager. He's been at the club for a long time.

His last trophy being in 2005 where they won the FA cup. He's a good manager. And he manages his players well. He brings in good transfers. All of that. He's done nothing to deserve being sacked, et cetera, et cetera and he finished third in the league last year, behind two very good Manchester clubs that basically tied for the league goal differential being the only difference.
Van Persie seems to me, now if I had to guess one club that he was headed, I would guess Barso. I don't see him staying in the primary league. The likes of Manchester City don't need him. They have Aguero, Dzeko, Balotelli -- on and on the list goes. Manchester United don't need him. And nor do I really see him in a United jersey.

Rooney, Welbeck seem to have it covered there, but you never know what Sir Alex might pull out of his hat. Barcelona seemed the best option, and it looks like David Villa is going to be sold, players like Afalite are gonna be like. It looks as if they're making room for a striker that they could possibly bring in and I know they do have Alexis Sanchez, they do have Pedro, van Persie could fit a very vital role in their top three up front with Messi and say, Sanchez on either side and Pedro being left out or even Pedro being brought in and Sanchez being left out.

There's so many options that are in this equation. van Persie is leaving Arsenal, and for me, it's trouble for Arsenal. He, Legendary Lee has been named Arsenal because of his amount of goals that he scored last year and please Arsenal fans, don't be offended, but Lukas Podolski and Drew are not gonna be enough to cover the way that van Persie lead that team and played last season.

I'm sorry. You could bring in three more signings. van Persie is priceless. Ultimately, Podolski could fill that roll, potentially. He could be another flub. It's really hard to say. I see Arsenal digressing though next year, not progressing. They could prove me wrong. They could really make me look foolish, and that's all right because I don't know everything about football, and I'm always willing to learn about football.

I want to know your thoughts on the van Persie, the van Persie ordeal, as van Persie has really dissed the Arsenal club. And it reminds a little bit of another Cesc Fabregas, reminds me of Samir Nasri, it reminds me of Emmanuel Adebayor, and it reminds of Fernando Torres. "Commitment to the clubs just a couple of months ago.
